The Knowledge Hub is a block-based documentation workspace built into Orizon QA. You can write test plans, file bug reports, capture meeting notes, and store any team knowledge — all in the same tool where you generate and manage tests. Pages live in a hierarchical tree you can nest and reorganize without limit. Every page auto-saves as you type, keeps a full version history, and is instantly searchable across your entire workspace.

Key features

  • Block-based editor — 10+ block types including code blocks with syntax highlighting, tables, images, checklists, and callouts
  • Hierarchical page tree — drag-and-drop pages into any structure with unlimited nesting
  • Full-text search — press ⌘K to search across all page titles and content instantly
  • Version history — every edit is recorded; restore any previous version with one click
  • Auto-save — changes save automatically after a 2-second pause, with a visual indicator in the toolbar
  • Templates — four built-in templates for common QA documents get you started in seconds
  • Backlinks — each page shows which other pages link to it
  • Page locking — lock a page to prevent accidental edits
The sidebar on the left shows your full page tree. Pages with sub-pages display a chevron you can click to expand or collapse them. To reorganize your pages, drag any item in the tree and drop it onto another page to make it a sub-page of that target. The dragged page and all its children move together. You can nest pages as deeply as your team needs — there is no limit. Right-click any page in the tree to open a context menu with options to add a sub-page, duplicate the page, or archive it.

Creating a new page

1

Open the new page form

Click New Page on the Knowledge Hub home screen, or click the + button that appears when you hover over any page in the sidebar.
2

Set a title and icon

Type your page title in the header area. Click the icon to open the emoji picker and choose from 32 icons, or remove the icon entirely.
3

Choose a parent (optional)

Use the parent selector in the top bar to nest this page under an existing page. Leave it set to No parent to create a root-level page.
4

Add content and save

Write your content in the editor. When you are ready, click Save or press ⌘S to create the page.
To start from a template instead of a blank page, select a template from the Quick Start Templates section on the Knowledge Hub home screen. The editor will open pre-filled with the template structure.

Searching with ⌘K

Press ⌘K anywhere in the Knowledge Hub to open the search modal. Start typing and results appear in real time — search covers both page titles and body content. Use the arrow keys to navigate results and press Enter to open the selected page. The modal also shows your five most recently visited pages when the search field is empty, so you can jump back to recent work without typing anything. Press Escape to close the search modal without navigating.

Page locking

Locking a page prevents anyone from editing its content. A lock icon appears next to the page title in the sidebar and in the header when a page is locked. To lock or unlock a page, open the page, click the menu in the top-right corner, and select Lock or Unlock.
Locking a page does not affect sub-pages. If you want to protect an entire section, you need to lock each page individually.
At the bottom of every page, Orizon QA lists all other pages that link to the current page. You can use [[page name]] syntax in the editor to create a link to another page by name — backlinks are tracked automatically whenever you save. Backlinks give you a quick way to understand how your documentation is connected, and to navigate between related pages without going through the sidebar.
